As the renowned event draws near, the BRIT Awards have confirmed two more musicians to join the star-studded lineup.

On March 2, the critically renowned trio Jungle and Nigerian Afrowave sensation Rema will perform live at London's O2 stadium.

This year, both acts have been nominated for their first BRIT awards.

Rema is nominated for International Song of the Year for his UK Top 5 track Calm Down, while Jungle is up for Group of the Year.

The two are joining Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, and RAYE-who have previously been announced-for the UK's biggest music event.

In the meanwhile, it has been confirmed that hosts Jack Saunders and Yinka Bokinni will broadcast "The BRITs' Aftershow" and "The Red Carpet" starting at 7:30 p.m. on ITV2.

Jungle said of their performance, "It's an honour for us to be asked to perform at this year's BRIT Awards. We're really excited to be part of such an amazing showcase for British music."

Known for its genre-bending blend of classic disco, hip-hop, and funk, the band performed at The O2 in September for their largest-ever headline event.

Benin City's Rema, on the other hand, has become a worldwide celebrity by dropping hit after hit and putting on five-star shows every single night.

Rema performed in about twenty-five European nations as well as numerous US states in 2023. He concluded the year with his biggest-yet, a completely booked headline show at The O2 Arena.

The celebrity earned the inaugural "Best Afrobeats" award at the MTV VMAs, became the first African artist to reach a billion streams on Spotify, and is currently the longest-charting African artist in the Billboard Top 100.

"I am honoured to be returning to The O2 to perform at The BRIT Awards this year," Rema continued.

On the other hand, Yinka and Jack will host The BRITs' Aftershow, a brand-new live switchover program for ITVX that will debut right after the main show on ITV1 and mark a first for the network.

Meanwhile, Kylie earlier said: "I am beyond thrilled to be honoured with the global icon award and to be joining a roll call of such incredible artists.

"The UK has always been a home from home so the Brits have a very special place in my heart. I have some amazing memories from the awards over the years and I can't wait to be back on the Brits stage."

The program will feature never-before-seen backstage and behind-the-scenes footage from the awards ceremony, as well as unique interviews with award winners and performers.
