If there's one thing to be said about the production on Ariana Grande's new album My Everything, it would not be that it's raw or stripped down. Though the album itself is all shiny, today (Sept. 12) her collaborator Cashmere Cat released a new edit of their track "Be My Baby," taking away quite a bit of the polish and making the song as a whole feel much more intimate.

Cat collaborated with hit songwriters Benny Blanco and Lido for the jamming fan-favorite track and has not given it a little bit of a remix over on his SoundCloud.

Cat's new edit of "Be My Baby" takes away a lot of the extra instrumentation on the album track, giving it an airy feel while maintaining its strong '90s pop and R&B roots. Grande and the instruments sound like small echoes in a big room, creating an organic yet ethereal tone, which is fitting for the winding pop song.
