Lewis Capaldi is one of the most prominent musicians in the world, but like any other artist, he also dreamt of becoming a huge sensation when he was younger.

According to Music-News, the singer's school friend name, Jack Cochrane, who is also a musician under the indie rock band called The Snuts, revealed that his good pal had big ambitions of breaking through the music industry when he was younger and one of his biggest inspirations was Ed Sheeran.

Cochrane told The Independent: "Lewis was always saying, 'I want to be a pop star and I want to be as big as Ed Sheeran.'"
