Ben Affleck attracted hate comments from the supporters of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, amid his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez recently dropped her movie, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which delved into her relationship with Affleck in the 2000s before their reunion in 2021. The flick included love letters he wrote for the singer, and they ultimately shocked Garner's fans.
Ben Affleck Never Got Over Jennifer Lopez
The flick featured the Justice League actor writing love letters and emails to Lopez and bounding them into a book. He eventually gave it to her as a gift when they scored their second chance over a decade after their first breakup.
"Ben would love for the outside world not to know about his love letters, but he is a romantic, and as much as he loved Jennifer, he never got over JLo," a source told the Daily Mail.
The insider continued, "Ben keeps his memories, whether it is from movies he worked on or family and relationship moments, he always has what the kids call 'receipts.' No one is surprised by this at all. Jennifer is OK with it, JLo obviously loves it and everyone notices that all this was meant to be."
Affleck originally did not want it to be shown in the film as he reportedly kept it a secret from his ex-wife.
With the revelation, Affleck left Garner's fans fuming due to the suggestion that he never got over Lopez while he was married to the mother of his three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Jennifer Garner Knew Ben Affleck's Feelings
On X, fans expressed their rage after the revelation in the film.
One said, "Gosh @BenAffleck. You're a cheater. You keep your love letters to Jlo when still married to Garner? Damn, no wonder she divorced you. That's a smart move for her. No wonder you denied the "nanny issue" because that's not it, it's the flame with Jlo when you're still married."
"Reading that Ben Affleck saved every letter he ever exchanged with Jennifer Lopez is really sweet until you realize he was married to (and had children with) another woman for 13 years," another wrote.
While Affleck's letters left everyone shocked, another insider claimed that Garner had always been aware of his ex-husband's feelings. In fact, she reportedly felt happy that Lopez came back as she could keep him in check.
