Slash confirmed the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival Summer 2024 Tour to support his new blues covers album, "Orgy of the Damned."

Ahead of the release of the album on May 17, Slash hyped fans by dropping the first single of the material: a cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor." The track featured Steven Tyler on harmonica and Brian Johnson on vocals.

Aside from the albums and its tracks, Slash also shared good news about his upcoming tour.

What to Know About Slash's S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival Summer 2024 Tour

After his single's release, Slash disclosed the beginning of his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival Summer 2024 Tour.

The name is an acronym for "Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Equality N' Tolerance." Speaking about the trek, Slash revealed to Ultimate Classic Rock and Culture what inspired him to launch the project.

"I thought it would be a great time, because of all of the divisions and whatnot [that are] happening in this country on a social level, to try and bring some solidarity and acceptance and support different groups," said Slash. "I want to really sort of bring people together and make this a celebration of all different kinds of people and all kinds of different ways of thinking. I just thought that would be a good vehicle for that."

The upcoming tour will start in Bonner, Mont., and wrap up in Grand Prairie, Tex.
