Nicki Minaj postponed her Pink Friday 2 World Tour stop in New Orleans after succumbing to sickness.
The move came after publicly revealing that she felt she had COVID after her sold-out Rolling Loud California performance last Friday, Mar. 15, 2024.
Nicki Minaj Postpones New Orleans Concert
The Smoothie King Center, where Nicki Minaj will hold her Gag City Tour in New Orleans, posted on its official Instagram account that the Queen of Rap pulled the plug on her concert stop four hours before the show.
"Due to doctor's orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight," they explained. "As Nicki is still sick, our team does not want to run the risk of getting others sick, and Nicki would not be able to give NOLA the show they deserve. We are working diligently to find a new date, so please hold onto your tickets, and we will inform you all soon."
As of this writing, it is not known whether refunds will be available for those who cannot attend the promised new date.
Likewise, a new date hasn't been announced yet, nor has it been finalized.
Minaj has yet to address her fans on Twitter or Instagram as she is reportedly sick.
Fans expressed their frustration on Instagram.
"She ain't just get sick a few hours ago. This should've been announced this morning or yesterday.
This is extremely last minute and I'm very frustrated," a fan said.
"I just drove all the way to New Orleans. Her health is important but I wish they said something earlier," another noted.
Meanwhile, some defended her honor.
"Now if she gave yall a shtty show and still performed sick yall would be mad. Act like yall have some sense and wait for a rescheduled date!" one noted.
"Y'all get sick and call out of work all the time. Please go touch some damn grass. Y'all find ANY reason to dislike this lady. Good fkn day fr." another commented.

Nicki Minaj Sick After Rolling Loud California
A day after her successful set in Rolling Loud, California, Nicki Minaj woke up feeling under the weather.
"Barbz pls send me healing energy. woke up feeling like I had Covid. Thank God I don't. You guys are just everything.I appreciate you.I love you so much," she tweeted.
It seems like Nicki hasn't fully recovered yet.
Immediately, well-wishes poured in for the Queen of Rap.
