Scott Stapp from Creed is a grandfather now.
Like many, he is beyond proud of the fact.
In fact, he made the announcement himself!
Scott Stapp From Creed Now a Grandfather
Remember Stapp's son, whom the singer wrote "With Arms Wide Open" in the late 1990s for?
The son is now expecting his own first child.
So Scott is now a grandfather and all his fans are now must be feeling old. It's obvious though that he welcomes this new addition to his family with his arms wide open too.
Scott, who turned 50 in August of last year, told People magazine about his new family title and shared a picture of himself with his son Jagger and his new grandson Cash, who was born in September.

"I have a beautiful, beautiful grandson," the singer stated. "I don't feel like a grandpa! I look at myself and I'm like, when I was a kid, grandpas had gray hair and a cane. So maybe it's the food and the vitamins and everything else we've learned on how to better take care of ourselves. But a grandpa I am. And a proud one at that."
Stapp added that the newborn Cash and his family are "doing great."
Creed Singer a Hands-On Father
The fact that he's excited about being a grandpop just goes to show how much of a family man he is. One can naturally expect that he's also a great dad, not just to Jagger but to the rest of his kids.
Which is true.
"I feel like my role in my kids' life is just to love and encourage and take care of them and let them know that I'm always going to be there for them no matter what," said the singer once to People magazine. "They make me want to be a better man... I just want to make them proud, and be a father they can look up to and say, 'That's my dad. I'm proud of him.'"
Although Stapp's previous marriage produced Jagger, his current spouse Jaclyn is the mother of three other Stapp children: Milan, age 17, Daniel, age 13, and Anthony, age 6.
The rock star claims that his daughter Milan has developed a deep link with him since she has a similar love for music to his own.
Noting that she is a multi-instrumentalist and has already started recording her own music, he said his daughter is the coolest ever.
