It's been four years since Lady Gaga last released her solo studio album Chromatica, and fans have been waiting for her to drop new music sometime in 2024. Although she has been busy filming her movie Joker: Folie à Deux with Joaquin Phoenix, it seems like the singer will give her Little Monsters a surprise treat as she gives an update about her next musical project.

The singer, celebrating her 38th birthday today, recently sat down in a live video chat with makeup content creator Nikkie de Jager, also known as NikkieTutorials. (via The Sun)

The two, who had previously collaborated on a cosmetics video, spoke to each other about beauty products, but Nikkie sneakily slipped in a question about the singer's next project, or as fans dubbed it, "LG7."

"We can't wait for LG7, and while we're waiting, we'll just play with our blush," the Dutch beauty influencer said in the short clip shared by Pop Crave.

Lady Gaga later replied and gave just a short detail about her project, saying she's currently working on it and it seems like she's in a time crunch.

"I'm working as fast as I can, but I will say I'm deeply inspired right now, and I'm so excited for everything that I have to show (to) all the fans... I'm deeply grateful for everybody's excitement in my creativity," she said.

The musician/actress and her co-star, Joaquin Phoenix, will reportedly sing over 15 covers of songs that the public loved through the years.
