Lizzo has said "I quit" after facing public ridicule and humiliation following the scrutiny that came after sexual harassment lawsuits were filed against her. The Grammy-winning singer shared an emotional statement on Instagram stating her unfiltered thoughts.

Lizzo Quits

In a statement she shared on Instagram, Lizzo said: "I'm getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the Internet," Lizzo wrote on Instagram. "All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it."

Lizzo faced intense scrutiny and backlash after three of her former backup dancers filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her. Several other people who used to work with Lizzo have attested to alleged wrongdoings and cruel behavior behind the cameras.

"I'm constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views... being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look... my character being picked apart by people who don't know me and disrespecting my name. I didn't sign up for this s- - I QUIT [peace out emoji]."

Lizzo's big move and statement shocked many, considering that people on social media haven't talked about her in the past few months.
