Wynonna Judd Feels 'Powerless' Over Daughter Grace's Repeated Arrests

Wynonna Judd grapples with the troubled behavior exhibited by her daughter, Grace Pauline Kelly, following her recent arrest.

The 27-year-old troubled woman was apprehended and placed in the Elmore County Jail after being found exposing herself on an Alabama highway.

Amid misdemeanors associated with indecent exposure, she had her bond established at $1,000.

Kelly remains in custody as of Tuesday, April 9. Insiders reveal that Judd has been deeply unsettled following her daughter's detention and has been diligently striving to mend her connection with Grace over the past few months.

Wynonna Judd's Trouble as A Mom

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, "[Judd] feels like there is nothing she can do anymore and she's powerless."

"Whenever Grace gets back on track, she falls right off track again and it is a pattern that has no end."

During a challenging period, the Judd family grew even tighter after the loss of Naomi Judd, who tragically took her own life in 2022 after battling mental health issues for many years.

According to the source, the family was able to rekindle their bond after Naomi's passing, with a particular emphasis on the arrival of Kelly's daughter, Kaliyah, who was born in the same month as her great-grandmother's departure.

"[Kelly] giving [Judd] a granddaughter weeks before Naomi took her life was the best thing that could have happened because she has been able to channel her pain into love for Kaliyah," the insider said.

"[Judd] is prepared to take care of Kaliyah if [Kelly] goes back to prison again but is praying that this won't happen."

Regarding her wild relationship with her daughter, Judd "just doesn't know if there is anything else she can do except for what she is doing already."

According to insiders, the country sensation has been engaging in continuous prayers and grappling with feelings of self-blame concerning her daughter's battle with addiction.

Judd reportedly believes her celebrity status may have hindered her ability to be the most supportive parent possible to Kelly during her formative years.

In another account, an individual close to "No One Else on Earth" singer shared insights into the deep emotional turmoil she has faced in recent years.

They likened her struggles to a never-ending nightmare, encompassing the challenges stemming from her mother's tragic passing and the ongoing legal disputes surrounding her estate.

According to another source, "This is yet another moment that [Judd] is trying to figure out, it's as if someone is playing a mean trick on her."
