In light of his disturbing allegations against Kanye West, a previous Yeezy staff member chose to continue his daughter's education at Donda Academy despite filing a lawsuit against the rapper for purported child abuse.

Despite the unsettling claims that West allegedly expressed intentions to shave students' heads and confine them to cages, the daughter continues to be enrolled at the private school affiliated with the renowned rapper Donda.

Kanye West's Donda Academy

Page Six reported that various insiders verified that Phillips' daughter, Makayla Myles-Phillips, remained enrolled at Donda Academy and continued her involvement in the school's choir program.

Additionally, insiders asserted that Phillips had not taken any steps to withdraw his daughter from Donda Academy despite his serious accusations against West just the week before.

"She's an elite singer. She just did a performance, and she actually had a solo," an insider revealed to the outlet.

"Her mom never heard her sing by herself before her solo. The program just boosted her confidence."

"She is an amazing singer and rarely misses a rehearsal," a second source continued.

According to records acquired by the publication, Myles-Phillips has been consistently present at Donda Academy. She became a member of the Donda Choir at the start of the year.

Contrary to the child abuse claims brought forth by Phillips in his recent legal action against West, additional personnel at Donda Academy have vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as unfounded.

"It bothers me, honestly, because Ye is a generous guy," a Donda Academy source revealed. "One thing that everyone knows is that the kids, the school and everything in regard to Donda is his life, his source of light."

"It's just a big family aspect, and I think that's what he wanted," another source explained, "especially under his mom's name."

It's worth noting that a source at the Donda Academy said that Phillips' daughter missed the recent choir rehearsal held at the institution.

The insider described the circumstance as regrettable and expressed uncertainty regarding Myles-Phillips's return following her father's legal action against West.

Kanye West Lawsuit

Phillips filed a lawsuit against the "All of the Lights" rapper last week in Los Angeles, accusing him of discrimination and harassment.

Upon being hired at Yeezy in November 2022 and later transferred to Donda Academy, Phillips claimed that West directed insults toward Black employees, expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler, and made derogatory remarks about the Jewish community in multiple private meetings.

Upon beginning his role at Yeezy and Donda, Phillips quickly noticed a troubling pattern in West's treatment of staff members.

According to Phillips, there was a stark contrast in how West interacted with black employees compared to their white counterparts. This disparity was evident in the controversial rapper's behavior during work hours, where he allegedly displayed aggressive and disrespectful conduct towards black staff members while maintaining a more amicable approach with white employees.

Phillips, being a black man himself, felt targeted by West's discriminatory actions, which he described as both harassing and disrespectful.

Surprising claims raised eyebrows when Phillips accused West of making disturbing remarks to a pair of young students at Donda Academy. Allegedly, West expressed a desire to shave their heads, install a jail on school grounds, and even reportedly made threats to confine them in cages.
