Travis Kelce's Chiefs coach is giving some insight into his "Love Story" with Taylor Swift.

After taking her romance with the Chiefs' tight end public, Swift became an unexpected icon of the NFL. The pop star was first seen at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs' home turf, in September 2023 when the team played the Chicago Bears. She attended thirteen games during the 2023-2024 season, during ten of which the Chiefs won.

Swift also appeared at Super Bowl LVIII, where she celebrated Kelce and the Chiefs' triumphant win against the San Francisco 49ers. It marked the team's second Super Bowl win in a row.

Her relationship with Kelce even led to a "Swift bump" for the NFL. Viewership from teenage girls increased by 53%, and there was a 24% increase among women between 18-24 years old. Apex Marketing reported that the "Cruel Summer" singer "effectively generated an additional $331.5m in brand value for the Chiefs and NFL."

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell celebrated the Swift-effect, saying that "It creates another group of young fans, particularly young women, that are interested in seeing why is she going to this game? Why is she interested in this game besides Travis? She is a football fan."

The Chiefs' head coach, Andy Reid, gave his official approval of Kelce and Swift's relationship back in October.

"Listen, I'm a big fan, so I'm glad she was here and I hope she enjoyed it," he said in an interview with PEOPLE. He added, "She's got a great guy she's dating right now, so I'm happy for both of them."

Now, the Chiefs' offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy, is speaking up about what it's like to have a superstar so close to the team. In an interview with KCTV5, posted to X, Nagy expressed his true feelings about Swift's massive presence.

When asked about what it's like to be a member of a team receiving so much attention and affection, Nagy responded that: "It's definitely rare for sure, I mean you're talking about Taylor Swift and Kelce and Patrick [Mahomes.]"

He said that he's "never met" the billionaire, but that "We love having her a part of the family and the team. What she and Kelc have done is a cool story."

He continued, saying that is a "credit to both of them to be two big powerful people that are also so humble in what they do. And, they're so talented at what they do, whether it's football or singing, etc.."

Nagy's enthusiasm for Swift mirrors that of Reid, who knew the singer before she met Kelce.

The head coach detailed that he knew the singer "before, from Philadelphia. Her dad played at [University of] Delaware and was a big football fan and good guy." Reid then met Swift through her father, Scott.

Reid beamed that Swift is "a good girl. And I'm happy for Trav... Trav's handled it right, she's handled it right and we just move forward." He added that she "She loves the game, and obviously loves Kelce. So I'm happy for both of them."

With approval from her beau's bosses, Swift is settling in comfortably as a staple sight of the NFL sidelines.
