After being made to pay millions to her father, whom she no longer sees, Britney Spears has returned to Instagram and shared a cryptic post.
Some now believe that by reading between the lines, they could feel Spears trying to hurt her with a seemingly innocent question.
The 42-year-old "Toxic" hitmaker took a little hiatus from social media when word leaked that she would have to reimburse her father, Jamie Spears' legal bills after a contentious legal battle to terminate her conservatorship.
Britney Spears' Cryptic Post Targeted at Estranged Dad?
Britney said there was "no justice" and that she would have to pay £1.6 million ($2 million) in legal bills due to the protracted legal battle.
But in a flash, she's back on social media, sharing several photos of herself lounging and getting comfort from one of her horses.
On Monday, Britney even appeared in a video, dancing while donning a strapless white and yellow dress.
After renaming herself Xila Maria River Red, the singer moves on to more family-friendly material, petting and cuddling a horse while staring into the camera.
According to Mirror UK, fans were left confused with what she meant with her caption on the post, which read: "Me this morning before riding!!! Psss are we still playing chess???"
Given how, following the judge's decision, Britney took to Instagram and went on a vehement tirade but hastily erased the post later, some fans now think the confusing remark was about her father.
Singer More Dysfunctional Than Ever?
According to reports, Britney Spears is "dangerously unstable" following the resolution of her legal battle over conservatorship with her father, Jamie Spears.
An article released by TMZ on Monday, April 29, claims that Britney, 42, is in danger financially and mentally and that the singer of "Toxic" has been spending significant sums of money regularly.
A source informed the tabloid that Britney is "completely dysfunctional."
The insider also stated that the Grammy winner has had "no supervision" since her conservatorship expired in November 2021 and is prone to "shocking" mood swings.
Another insider said she was protected by the restrictions in the conservatorship, which she now lost after being "freed."
