An autopsy report determined Park Bo Ram's cause of death over a month after her passing.

South Korean media outlets, including The JoongAng and News1, shared the final autopsy report obtained by the Namyangju Southern Police Station from the National Forensic Service. It determined that the Superstar K2 contestant died from acute alcohol poisoning.

The report also disclosed that she had health issues at the time of her death, including fatty liver disease and liver lesions.

The National Forensic Service said no other contributing factors to her death were found.

The confirmation of Park's cause of death came out over a month after her agency, Xanadu Entertainment, released a statement regarding her passing on April 11.

"All of the artists and executives at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking that we have to tell you this sudden news to all of the fans who support Park Bo Ram. The funeral will be held after consulting with the bereaved's family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace," the agency continued.

Park was drinking with her friends at a bar in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and was found unconscious in the bar bathroom around 9:55 p.m. She was rushed to Hanyang University Guri Hospital where she was declared dead at around 11:17 p.m.

Police immediately launched a probe at the time.

Park rose to fame following her appearance as a contestant on Mnet's Superstar K2, where she finished in eighth place. She released her debut single, "Beautiful," in 2014.

In 2015, Park shared her first EP Celepretty while collaborating with artists like Park Kyung and Eric Nam. She dropped more albums and singles afterward, including Orange Moon in 2017, "I Hope" and "I Miss You."

She was reportedly working on a new album before her death to mark what would have been her 10th anniversary as a musician.

Park made headlines in 2018 when she broke up with Café Minamdang and Reply 1997 star Seo In Guk after two years of dating. They were both former contestants in the singing competition show.

"Seo In Guk and Park Bo Ram naturally broke up about a month ago," their agencies said in a statement.
