Chelsea Handlers' name has been on the tip of a lot of peoples' tongues in the past few weeks thanks to her winding down her late night talk show, Chelsea Lately. On October 10th she'll officially begin her unique partnership with Netflix and it will include a new stand-up special, Uganda Be Kidding Me. In the meantime Chelsea has been chatting quite a bit to the press about her career and how what you see on television is exactly what you get in real life. She loves the fame that has come along with her body of work because she has never been playing a character onstage.

The comedienne also recently spoke on the irony of it taking six full years of begging to be allowed to perform at The Improv and now a big photo of her actually hangs on-site. Her persistence finally got her in the door and once there they realized that they had been missing out on some great stuff. Apparently her friends were telling her for years that she needed to write a book based on all of her adventures. Never one to pull punches, she believes that if you want to hook up with a guy but have no intention of seeing him again then the nice thing to do is to tell him.

Are you a fan of Chelsea Handler's straight-to-the-point, kind of abrasive style? E! thought it was refreshing to add a woman to the late-night talk show arena and she more than proved that she could hold her own. Will you be following her over to Netflix to see what Handler has up her sleeve for fans next? Fans are wondering if this move will make Chelsea even more of a trailblazer or if it'll ultimately be like a step back. Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
