It's a bit unusual, sure, but it's still somehow entertaining. On last night's episode of E!'s Chelsea Lately, Sia stopped by for an interview, but kept her back to the camera.

From PopCrush via quotes from US Weekly, the 1000 Forms of Fear star apparently did the "stunt" because she doesn't want to be famous. "All my friends that I write pop songs for are super famous, and it really f*cked them up!" she stated in the piece.

The artist adds, "And like being hunted, pararzzi-style, doesn't appeal to me. I want to be able to get fat and pee on the side of the road!"

During the chat, host Chelsea Handler congratulated Sia on her recent wedding. The "Chandelier" singer then dropped some feelings on what it's like to be married, saying it's "awesome" and "so nice." Afterwards, the two, who are obviously friendly, joked about the time they crashed Melissa Etheridge's wedding, which apparently Sia didn't "fully" crash.

Before taking to the stage to perform her hit "Chandelier," Sia spoke a little bit about her songwriting style. Apparently, her tunes are often birthed from scats until she reaches something that falls out. You know, like, "diamonds in the sky" from Rihanna's hit "Diamonds."

In the segment, Sia noted that the aforementioned "Chandelier" was written with RiRi in mind, but the singer opted to keep that one for herself. Sounds like it was the right move, no?
