Fans of The Real Housewives of New York wondered how Ramona Singer was going to react to the news that Bravo was firing her from being a full time cast member and now we all have a clue. Apparently Singer doesn't like the idea of being dumped into the position of "recurring friend" at all. Providing background noise and brief exchanges during the shows' party scenes isn't exactly her idea of a job. In fact it's more of an insult to Singer, who has been with the show since 2008 and we're hearing that she's inclined to quit the franchise before she'll chew scenery.

Singer isn't the first one to be bumped to a recurring status, in fact LuAnn de Lesseps found herself in the same exact situation last season and Bravo producers realized that they had made a mistake so she will be featured prominently again in the upcoming season. One reason that Ramona may have fallen out of favor with the network is because she recently went through a pretty high profile scandal with her husband, Mario Singer blatantly cheating on her yet she refused to even discuss it at all on the show. Ramona's reality wasn't exactly the one that she was projecting and fans of the show knew it.

Her life is currently in a state of upheaval as she is now divorcing Mario and Ramona's daughter Avery recently left for college. That means that Ramona's life is in a total state of flux which might have been interesting for the fans to watch but Bravo producers weren't trusting that the wine-lover would be authentic enough. Should Ramona stay on The Real Housewives of New York in a recurring position or is she wiser to move on completely from reality television?
