Radio.com reported that Metallica will be re-releasing their 2004 documentary Some Kind of Monster in a two-disc Blu-ray set to celebrate the film’s 10th anniversary.

This anniversary edition of the film will include special bonus material including interviews with the band members and directors Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky, as well as the 2013 retrospective documentary short Metallica: This Monster Lives. The 10th anniversary Blu-ray set is scheduled for release Nov. 24.

The award-winning Some Kind of Monster documents Metallica during a difficult period in their career in the early 2000s, in which bassist Jason Newsted left the band, singer James Hetfield checked himself into rehab for alcohol abuse and the band entered group therapy to keep themselves from breaking up.

SPOILER ALERT: The band pulled itself away from the brink of destruction and went on to record the 2003 album St. Anger.

In addition to this new Blu-ray reissue of Some Kind of Monster, Metallica will also be releasing a limited-edition, 12-inch single for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event called “Lords of Summer,” a new song the band debuted this year on tour. The A-side will include a studio and a live recording of the song, while the B-side will feature a lazer etching of the band's "M" logo.

Just in case these were not enough, Metallica is also releasing the CD box set Live Metallica: By Request 2014, which compiles recordings of all 27 concerts the band performed in 2014, including their headlining set at Glastonbury.

If you do not feel like buying the entire set — it is going for $417 — each concert is being released individually on CD and digital formats.
