Well, we've got some good news and bad news for EDM fans, so we're gonna start with the bad news first and hope that the second half of the article makes it up for you (both from Dancing Astronaut).

The Bad News: Bauuer Cancels Tour

Bauuer got on Facebook the other day and told his fan base that he was canceling his entire tour with Boys Noize. No major health problems or anything Morrisey-esque but it seems that both sides are deeply involved in their new projects and can't tear themselves away from it long enough to go on tour.

"There's a bunch of reasons why this needed to happen, but mostly, alex and I have to get back into the studio and finish our projects," he said. "I never ever cancel shows, so pulling this whole tour is devastating."

He confirmed that those who had already bought tickets would be able to get full refunds. More interestingly however was that the Facebook post was pulled offline later. What does that mean? Probably nothing but fans can only hope he didn't mean it.

The Good News: Alesso Announces Album for 2015

Alesso, the Swedish DJ named "most likely to be confused for a former member of Swedish House Mafia," confirmed after his performance at the Ultra Japan music festival that he would be dropping his first LP on Def Jam Records during early 2015.

It's somewhat an interesting coincidence that he'll be signed to Def Jam, as Axwell /\ Ingrosso-two actual former members of Swedish House Mafia-announced in the last few last weeks that they too would be releasing their first album on Def Jam.
