Nicki Minaj may be hosting the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards, but she's not the only major musical talent in the lineup. Today (Oct. 2), MTV announced two new performers for the show: megastars Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande.

Sheeran cheekily made his own EMA performance announcement on his Facebook page. The "Don't" singer posted a video of himself, all the while playing with the springy EMA statue and teasing another "grande" performer.

"I'm Ed Sheeran. I'm going to be performing this year at the EMAs in Glasgow. I've never been successful enough in Europe to be a part of it, and finally I am," he said. "I hear there's another female artist performing. She's got a few "Problems" and hangs out with rappers that might be a bit "Fancy."

So, obviously that's Ariana Grande.

The duo were added to the EMA lineup just days after Minaj was announced as the show's host and one of the musical performers.

Grande and Sheeran's performances at the MTV EMA follow nominations for each performer.

Grande has the second-most nominations of any performer (next to Katy Perry) with six nods. She's nominated for Best Song ("Problem), Best Pop, Best Female, Best New, Biggest Fans and Best Push. Sheeran, meanwhile, has one nomination for Best Male.

The 2014 MTV EMA will take place on Sunday, Nov. 9 in Glasgow, Scotland.
