Drake made music history this week after his three newly released albums — Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour — took over both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts in a way no artist has done before.

The rapper placed 42 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single week, setting a new all-time record. The achievement passed the previous mark of 37 songs held by Morgan Wallen. Drake's massive chart run came from the 43 tracks spread across his three albums, which were released together on May 15, Rolling Stone reported.

Leading the success was "Janice STFU," which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The song became Drake's 14th chart-topping single, helping him move ahead of Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 hits by a solo male artist in Billboard Hot 100 history.

The track also posted strong numbers during its first week. It earned 40.7 million official streams in the United States, along with radio airplay and digital sales that pushed it to the top spot. Billboard also confirmed that the song became Drake's 22nd No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart.

Drake Lands 9 Songs in Hot 100 Top 10

According to Billboard, Drake's chart domination did not stop there. He also placed nine songs inside the Hot 100's Top 10, including "Ran to Atlanta," "Whisper My Name," "Shabang," and "National Treasures."

With those additions, Drake now has 90 career Top 10 hits, extending his own record for the most ever. At the same time, Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour debuted at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. That made Drake the first artist in Billboard's history to hold the top three album spots at the same time.

The success of Iceman also gave Drake his 15th No. 1 album. The milestone ties him with Taylor Swift for the most chart-topping albums by a solo artist. Only The Beatles have more overall with 19.

Even with Drake controlling most of the chart, Ella Langley still held strong as her hit "Choosin' Texas" remained inside the Top 5 after previously spending weeks at No. 1.
