Since being sentenced to 15 months behind bars for a handful of admitted financial crimes, Teresa Giudice seems to have a handle on the reality that she's no longer a real "fan favorite." When word spread that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star had planned on continuing on as if nothing had changed the backlash was pretty loud. Giudice had intended on still hosting a meet and greet on Oct. 8 in Westwood, N.J. Until former fans made it known loud and clear that they believed it proved that Giudice had lied to the judge when she claimed not to care about fame.

She finally broke her silence on social media to tweet that the scheduled appearance had been canceled saying,

"Hi, I just want to be clear there will be no Fabellini appearance this week. Stay Tune for further appearance announcements."

Giudice probably realized that if she did show up she was leaving herself wide open to public humiliation and that was certainly not something that she would want the media to catch wind of at this point. As it is, she and her also convicted husband, Joe Giudice will appear on a special edition of Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live on Monday night to give their first interview since sentencing last week. Again, another interesting choice for someone who cried to the judge about not caring about television, going so far as to say that it's "all fake" anyway. We have to wonder what Bravo's Cohen had to say about that little comment.

Do you think that if Giudice was feeling the love and support she would have shown up for that already scheduled Fabellini appearance? If she meant what she said to the judge then shouldn't she clear her attention-seeking schedule? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
