Elle Varner is switching things up with the release of her new video for "F--k It All." Following accusations of copying K. Michelle's singing style, Varner offers up a cinematic five-minute clip.

The visual for Varner's latest release tells the story of a woman, played by the R&B singer, who finds that her man is unfaithful after reading a few text messages. Varner attempts to conceal the pain of her discovery while on a rural romantic vacation. She eventually snaps and her lover pays the ultimate price.

"The most haunting thing about the tune for me is that I never break from the light, airy, melancholic melody until the very end," she wrote in an email to The Fader. "It was a challenge as a writer and singer to stay on one melody and chorus lyric — "F--k it all" — and let only the verse lyrics grow in intensity."

Known mostly for her mild love songs, Varner's "exploration into the darker side" may come as a surprise to some but former friend K. Michelle saw it coming. During an interview with The Breakfast Club, she called Varner out for stealing her song and imitating her sound.

"I'm the only b---h yodeling in these hooks. You can't do this," she said of Elle. "She went and put it out. Management told me they didn't like the record and they wasn't gonna put it out."
