Last month Sarah Palin's family attended a house party near Anchorage, AK that turned into a bloody brawl. There were rumors that Bristol Palin was throwing punches left and right while her dad, Todd Palin had his butt handed to him. Of course Sarah issued a semi-cryptic statement praising her daughter Bristol's fighting spirit, something that was viewed as her putting her stamp of approval on Bristol's bad behavior. It only took TMZ a few weeks to get their hands on the official police report that was filed on the night in question and it paints quite a vivid picture of the scrappy Palin's.

According to TMZ:

"Bristol told police the homeowner, Korey Klingenmeyer, shoved her to the ground, dragged her around, and started calling her a slut and a c--t.

Korey and several other witnesses at the party saw it differently—telling cops Bristol punched him in the face—he says he let her hit him five or six times before grabbing her fist and pushing back, sending her reeling to the ground.

That scrap then sparked the all-out brawl: Witnesses say Track and three or four other people came running to defend Bristol and all hell broke loose, with the Palins, including dad Todd, taking on all comers.

Willow says several people at the party we're chanting, "F--k the Palins!"

One witness says Todd got jumped by four people, and Track jumped in to help his father. He emerged from the scrum with a torn shirt and bloody mouth. Bristol says she was uninjured, though one cop described her as having "dirt on her knees."

So basically, they were all drunk and rather than trying to stop things it sounds like the whole family was ready to rumble. Supposedly Sarah Palin was not in the middle of the fight as was first reported. Instead she was sitting outside in her limo. She may have tried to calm her family down after the fact but she certainly didn't try to break up any fights as the fists were flying.

Are you at all surprised to learn that this whole family was so quick to get into a physical altercation? Prosecutors actually refused to file charges against anyone involved. Instead they chalked it up to everyone being heavily intoxicated. What are your thoughts on the Palin's after this incident? Should charges have been filed? Do you think that there is a lot of dysfunction behind the scenes with them?
