In the trailer for her upcoming documentary, Miley Cyrus, whose single "Wrecking Ball" is currently leading the Billboard charts, shows that nothing will get in the way of her dreams.

"I was born to become who I am right now," she says in the clip.

The trailer begins with Cyrus backstage before her infamous VMA performance. As she walks out on stage, she says, "I'm nervous as a motherf***er. I'm not going to lie." The footage follows her through moments in the life of Miley Cyrus - in recording studios, during rehearsals, on photo shoots, on the road, on stage and with fans, friends and family.

During her interview for the documentary, she explains how she got to where she is today. "Right now I'm at a point in my career where I can be exactly...who I am want be," she says. "Every time I do anything, I want to remember: This is what separates me from everybody else."

She says that she is starting as a new artist now, which gives her freedom. About her VMA performance, she said, "Everyone takes the VMAs so serious. I just want to go out and shoot a hot dog gun. I just want to have fun. You're always going to make people talk. You might as well make them talk for two weeks rather than two seconds."

"Miley: The Movement" premieres Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. Cyrus' upcoming album "Bangerz" drops Oct. 4.
