Country duo Florida Georgia Line traded in their frat rock antics for acoustic shimmer at this year's CMA Awards, performing their newest single "Dirt"

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard sat side-by-side and sang their hearts out during the performance off of the Anything Goes track. It was an understated and simple presentation that fit the song's low-key vibe. In a lineup full of performers who may have slowed things down, Florida Georgia Line is typically not an act to go for uncomplicated, but it worked for the boys. Check it out below.

They took home the award for Vocal Duo of the Year.

FGL burst onto the scene in 2010, but their first full-length release, Here's to the Good Times, propelled the duo to country stardom in 2012 behind hits like "Cruise" and "Get Your Shine on." Their most recent release, Anything Goes, came out in October and went straight to the top of the charts, making them the unofficial kings of the bro country movement.

"But it's a more consistent album than its predecessor," Billboard wrote about Anything Goes. "And perhaps more importantly, it shores up the duo's country flanks, and demonstrates that FGL intends to aggressively protect its progressive place in the genre, one that the act essentially designed on its own."

Last year the pair raked in their first CMA Award with an Single of the Year nod for "Cruise."

Florida Georgia Line will be hosting the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards on Dec. 15 on FOX.
