Last month, A$AP Rocky released his new video for "Multiply" and dropped some head scratching bars that left fans selling their clothes. Now, Rocky is ready to clarify his Hood By Air and Been Trill diss after one of the clothing line's founders responded to the shade.

While attending the Guggenheim International Gala in New York earlier this week, New York Magazine asked Rocky why his feelings and attitude towards the brands changed and he offered up a pretty interesting explanation.

"I birthed it, so I can kill it," said Rocky about Hood By Air. "You know, fashion, it changes. Your perception of fashion sometimes changes; one day is red, the next day is blue. My style changes, it varies. "

He even threw another jab at Been Trill calling the line "wack" but he insists there isn't any real beef with the brand.

"I ain't really f--kin' with that Been Trill, swear that s--t is booty like Tip Drill," he raps. "HBA s--t is weak, you can keep that."

Following the release of "Multiply," eBay saw a spike in users trying to get rid of the HBA and Been Trill clothing. XXL notes the first garment of HBA that was put on eBay came an hour after the song dropped.

As previously reported, Heron Preston, one of the founding members of Been Trill, took to Instagram to express his feelings on A$AP Rocky's diss. In the lengthy caption, he touches on the power of fashion in music today. He also stated that Rocky's latest song and video is "good."

"What happened to rapper on rapper beef? the days of Biggie vs Tupac & Jay Z vs Nas are over. Remember how Nas's "Ether" or Tupac "Hit Em Up" made you feel? Remember what that meant for rap music? The fact that a rapper dissed a clothing company is a huge sign of the times," he wrote. "Does that mean rap is boring? has rap lost it's edge? Today, power in music is style. power is fashion. Let's keep this shit shocking and competitive! this is how you push things forward. and the song/video is good. let's continue to shake shit up! our culture needs it."
