Justin Bieber does what he wants. If that includes going to an NFL team's bible study Saturday night, Nov. 8, then so be it.

The "Boyfriend" singer was spotted in New York last night apparently brushing up on his religious knowledge with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Twitter provided photo evidence, according to Billboard.

The Biebs has mostly stayed out of the public eye in recent weeks, but he has still been making headlines thanks to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who told Ryan Seacrest that her new song "The Heart Wants What It Wants" is about JB.

"Music is an expression, and for me to be able to, if you will, be that voice for these girls," Gomez said. "There are so many people that feel this. It's universal. It's a heart."

Relationships are tough when you are young and world famous.

"I think the biggest problem that I had this year, even with him on his side is identity," she said. "I'm 21, this year I turned 22. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing. It was the first time when I was constantly kicked down for doing that."

But things are OK? Maybe?

"I think in a lot of ways, I'm just at peace now," Gomez said. "I think there's a struggle with figuring out is it right, is it wrong. I don't know what the future holds, and that's exactly what I say in the song."

Justin will always have a special place in her heart. She is in way too deep.

"I support him," Gomez said. "I think I always will. I'm upset when he's upset; I'm happy when he's happy. I don't want anything ever to happen to him bad. It hurts me."
