The good people behind one of YouTube's biggest series, "Epic Rap Battles of History," are back with a new season. In the first episode, the cast of the Ghostbusters takes on Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman of the Discovery Channel favorite Mythbusters.
As per usual, the series pits two impossible challengers against each other. Here are a few gems from the performance:
Ghostbusters: "Are you tired / Of two geeks in mustaches? / Who can manage to be boring / With explosions and crashes?"
Mythbusters: "Wow, your raps are just / Too wack to handle / Let's do it like we do / On the Discovery Channel."
That's just a taste from the introduction. Things manage to heat up when Adam and Jamie bring back their "B-team" of Tory, Grant and Kari before the giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man delivers a verse. Check it out below.
Some interesting match-ups from last season's ERB included Breaking Bad's Walter White versus The Walking Dead's Rick Grimes, Miley Cyrus versus Joan of Arc and Stephen King versus Edgar Allen Poe.
Recently, reports of a Ghostbusters reboot surfaced, with the new movie having an all-female cast. According to The Guardian and other sources, Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is working to bring back the iconic 1984 franchise. "It's official," Feig wrote via Twitter last month. "I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call."
