The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has been one of the most attractive shows on the planet since its inception. In recent years, this has not just been for the beautiful women who parade down the catwalk over the coarse of the night, but also a group of impressive musical guests who threaten to steal the show from the Victoria's Secret models.
Victoria's Secret just announced the guests for this year's edition, and they rival any year in the past. 2014 will feature "Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack contributor Ariana Grande and rising star Hozier via Billboard.
This will be back-to-back years Taylor Swift will perform as the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She was a part of the 2013 cast that featured Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World, Neon Jungle and herself. Past incarnations of the shows have been star-studded as well. In 2012, the show brought in Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars. In 2011, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Maroon 5 and Nicki Minaj all brought their talents to the runway.
For the rest of the cast, it will be their first time performing on the VS Fashion Show. Taylor Swift makes the appearance on the back of her abundantly successful artist album 1989, and her whirlwind media promo tour to support the album will include this performance. Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande have elevated themselves to among the premiere pop acts in the world, making them logical choices for the show, and Hozier is quickly joining those ranks, marking the show's ability to find upcoming talent and give them a stage to shine. If his performance was like the last one we saw from Hozier, we will be in for a treat.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion show takes place live Dec. 2 in London, but will air at 10 p.m. on CBS.
