Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp has fallen on hard times. A video of the singer confessing that he's homeless and broke surfaced a few days ago. It appears to have been deleted, but the singer posted new videos that explain more about his financial woes. Stapp appears to be sober in both videos (he's battled with substance abuse in the past) and claims that his record label, from what he's heard, owes him $50 million.

"This is just outrageous," the singer says in the first of the newest videos, Ultimate Classic Rock notes. Stapp filmed the clip in front of the police station in his hometown of Boca Raton, Florida, where he met with police to file a report. He adds that he has many reports to file, like against two major banks where his accounts were fraudulently drained. He doesn't name the record company that owes him millions in royalties, and lawyers who have inquired about it say it's not even worth his time (Creed and Stapp as a solo artist are both signed to Wind-up Records). He's having trouble finding a solution.

"As you can see, I'm on an island here," he says.

Stapp later released a second video, filmed in his truck where he is reportedly living. In that video (below), he says people have emailed him saying they were happy about his misfortunes. "The fight for vindication, for justice and for the truth to be known is on," he said. "I just want the contracts that have been signed to be honored. You know, I worked hard, just like I'm sure you have, to get your paychecks. And to have that taken from you doesn't feel good."

Users uploaded the videos to their own YouTube accounts after they were taken down, so Stapp posted a statement on Facebook in their place.

"I'm going to step back and let God control everything from here on," he wrote. "I should have continued to do that before I allowed my hurt, frustration, and emotions take control and post those videos. All I can say is that the truth will set you (me) free, and I'm holding on to Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 44:8. This is a test of faith, and I will NEVER give up or lose my faith. No matter what. This will be my last statement until after justice is served. Love to you all my friends."

The singer's wife reportedly filed court documents to have Stapp committed after the first video surfaced to receive help.

Stapp was out promoting his Proof of Life album, but he postponed those dates in October to in order to stay sober.
