Scottish indie pop outfit Belle & Sebastian have shared the music video for their latest single "Nobody's Empire," which you can check out below. The video, directed by Blair Young and frontman Stuart Murdoch, features footage from the cover photoshoot for the band's upcoming album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, with model Tamzin Merchant lip-synching the lyrics, intercut with home movies submitted by fans and stock footage taken from the Scottish Screen Archive and the Prelinger Archives.

According to a press release (via Stereogum), Murdoch calls the song "absolutely the most personal [song]" he's ever written, with lyrics dealing with his prolonged health issues as a child.
