New Orleans has always been one of the best party towns in the United States. Whether you want to stumble down Bourbon Street or check out any of the incredible music venues around the city, there is always something going on. In March, the city will play host to its first major festival of the year, Buku Music and Art Festival, as the temperatures begin to warm up and the summer humidity descends upon the delta. The festival has announced the first wave of artists and the festival kept with tradition by bringing together a diverse cast of acts from all over the musical spectrum. Some of the headliners include Bassnectar, A$AP Rocky, Passion Pit, Empire Of The Sun, Porter Robinson (Live) and many more (via YourEDM).

Buku will also bring in more acts like Die Antwoord, TV On The Radio, Run The Jewels, Portugal. The Man, Tove Lo, G-Eazy, Odesza, Bobby Shmurda, Gramatik and a whole host of up and coming talent.

March is generally considered to be early for the Northern Hemisphere festival season, but when it comes to the big easy, it is always time for a party. The festival will take place March 13 and 14 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

GA and VIP tickets go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. CST. Head to the festival's website for more info on the lineup and tickets. Watch innovative lineup trailer that announces the names on the lineup a little differently then most festivals.

It is already time to start planning out what festivals you want to attend in 2015 and Buku is vying for your attention and your wallet right now.
