If you haven't listened to Sara Koenig's wildly popular new podcast, Serial, then you need to get on it as soon as possible. The addicting true crime series follows the murder of Hae Min Lee that occurred in 1999 in Baltimore and Adnan Syed, the accused ex-boyfriend in prison. There's one simple question that drives the captivating podcast - "Did Syed really do it?" The series came to an end Thursday (Dec. 18), and now listeners are in withdrawal. Thankfully, a SoundCloud user remixed the theme music and interview snippets along with Notorious B.I.G.'s "Somebody's Gotta Die.'

As Billboard notes, user Fafu treats fans of the murder mystery to one hell of a mash up. Biggie rapping over the theme music sample is brilliant, but it's the bits of audio that really pull it all together. For those who haven't heard the podcast, listen to the clip below. It will probably hook you. All of the episode's can be found on the podcast's website.

"Somebody's Gotta Die" is off of Biggie's second LP, Life After Death. The album hit number one on the Billboard charts and it was Big's final recorded effort before his death in 1997.

Serial's first episode appeared on the popular This American Life radio show before becoming its own entity. Season one just wrapped, but another season is in the works.

"Serial is a podcast where we unfold one nonfiction story, week by week, over the course of a season. We'll stay with each story for as long as it takes to get to the bottom of it," the website reads. According to a post on Nov. 26, a story has yet to be chosen for the second season.
