Justin Bieber is budding on his own career in R&B. The maturing teen idol has been releasing a slew of sizzling adult jams during his Music Mondays campaign, including tracks like "Heartbreaker," "Recovery" and "All Bad." Now, a collaboration with one of the biggest names in R&B has been confirmed: the Biebz will release a song with the legendary R. Kelly (and also possibly Drake) next week.

The unlikely trio was first rumored to be collaborating on Oct. 30, when Bieber tweeted the vague message "they aren't ready" to both R. Kelly and Drake. Immediately, it seemed as though a new track was on its way, what with Bieber's Music Mondays project and all.

Now, R. Kelly has confirmed that he and Bieber have worked together on a song. R. Kelly told VIBE that a the track was on its way. "I just did a song [with him]. [Justin] called me to do a song and it's hot. He wanted to go and do some R&B stuff, so we got together and did that," he confessed.

Soon after that article was posted, Bieber gave a rough release date for the R. Kelly collaboration: "next week :)" he tweeted, alongside a link to the original story.

No word on whether or not the R. Kelly track will feature Drake or if it will be a part of Bieber's Music Mondays/music journals. It is possible Bieber could release two songs next week, as he did when he dropped "Hold Tight" and "Wait for a Minute" with Tyge back-to-back in October.
