Country music hasn't quite warmed up to Europe yet, but the genre certainly has fans on the continent, and groups such as Lady Antebellum are starting to reach out by planning European tours. Eric Church became the most recent country star to plan a European concert run

Church is releasing his new album The Outsiders during February of 2014, and he won't be celebrating it in America (he'll spend January opening for George Strait, if it makes you feel better). For now, the performer has a 12-date set lined up abroad. We're sure an American tour will follow shortly after.

Kudos to Lady Antebellum for swinging by, but Church has a little more in common with Europeans, if we may arrogantly say as much. For one, his trademark fashion statement is his aviators sunglasses, something that will fly just as well in Europe. Second, he's described the music on his new album to be "half Waylon, half Metallica." Waylon might be new, but Metallica is huge among the giant rock festivals in Europe. Third, he doesn't hide his proclivity to marijuana. He won't be safe all over Europe, but he's got a stop planned in Amsterdam.
