Miley Cyrus tweeted today that her doctor has ordered vocal rest. Her schedule has been pretty packed as of late, so it's no surprise she's due for some down time. "Happy to get some rest. Time to go be sicky," she told her fans.
As MTV News noted, Cyrus seemed to be struggling a little bit during her "Wrecking Ball" performance on UK's version of the X Factor Sunday night in London. Her voice seemed strained and even cracked near the end.
In other Miley news, over the weekend the pop star posted her Cosmopolitan cover on Instagram, in which she is wearing a bejeweled, nude dress and a quote that reads, "It's almost punk rock to like me. Society wants to shut me down."
Society might want to shut her down, but her fans obviously want more. RSVPs on Live Nation for her BANGERZ tour were the highest level the social media platform has ever reached. Hopefully she gets the rest that she needs to dominate her massive three-month tour.
