If you're tired of Kanye West being at the fore of every hip-hop discussion, then you better sit down for this one. It looks like the rapper will be resurrecting Yeezus for a follow-up album to debut next year

"I haven't named my next album, but I have started on it," West told radio station Power 99. "I always write down philosophies all the time, so I'll just have some thoughts and every time I think of it I write, and I'm just collecting beats, I'm just constantly working. I'd like to put out more product, I'd like have another album out by next summer."

It's more than a little assumptive on our part to assume the theoretical album will sound anything like Yeezus, but the life "philosophies" that West has been preaching sound a lot like the musical philosophies he's been spitting on tour. Still, the rapper can spin from brash to introspective on a dime, so a new album could bring an entirely new outlook on life, even if its released a year after his last drop (the gap between Yeezus and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was 2.5 years).

Not that the rapper doesn't have other things he's working on. He's on the road with the "Yeezus" tour, and there's also that Watch The Throne project. Based on the interview, it doesn't seem like anything's in motion yet for a second Jay Z collaboration ("we haven't made any songs yet"), but it seems like West is eager to give it a shot.

The rapper also indicated that he'd like to make a sequel to GOOD Music's Cruel Summer mixtape, but that he keeps getting the timing wrong. Apparently, he really wants it to be Cruel Winter, but he forgets about it and winter passes. If it's got tracks as loaded as "Mercy," we don't care if it's called Cruel Spring
