Thanksgiving is a huge day for the NFL. You and your relatives are off work and full of food, so what better conditions for watching football? Like a fellow big game, The Super Bowl, the league celebrates by hosting special halftime performances. The talent might not live up to the big names that show up for the biggest game, but we figured we'd give brief bios for the performers to expect during today's games:

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions

It's appropriate that Tony Lucca will be performing in Detroit, near his hometown of Pontiac, MI. Odds are you've seen the singer/songwriter before without realizing it. He got his start by appearing on the Mickey Mouse Club, and he's made a name as a pop opener, touring with *NSYNC, Sara Bareilles and Marc Anthony. If none of those appearances ring a bell, he was also a contestant on The Voice during 2012.

Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys

Selena Gomez is one performer that we don't need to introduce you to. She does hail from Grand Prairie, TX, a city on the outskirts of Dallas County.

Pittsburg Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

The best game of the day is also host to the most interesting halftime performance. Halftime performances have always tended toward rock, pop and hip-hop-mainstream genres-but this game will experiment, featuring the renowned Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Marin Alsop, the conductor for the orchestra, is considered to be the first woman ever named conductor of a "major" American orchestra. They'll share the stage with OrchKids, an education program affiliated with the orchestra.
