Kid Rock may not be making edgy songs or videos anymore, but he can still stir up a beef when he finds it necessary. The Detroit-area hitmaker is an unabashed #patriot who is vehemently standing behind fallen veteran Chris Kyle and his recently released film American Sniper.

The enemies in this case? Michael Moore and Seth Rogen.

Both of these men, in the eyes of Kid Rock, tweeted out anti-American sentiments. Check out the offending tweets below:

These exhibits of free expression were met with vitriol by the Kid (and several others), who promptly issued this statement via his website:

F--- you Michael Moore, you're a piece of s--- and your uncle would be ashamed of you. Seth Rogen, your uncle probably molested you. I hope both of you catch a fist to the face soon.

God bless you Chris Kyle, Thank you for your service.

The comedian that he is, Rogen had a quick response:

American Sniper had one of the biggest first-weekend box offices of all-time after its Jan. 16 release, and has fared well with critics, notching a 74 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and earning a Best Picture nomination from the Academy Awards.

Actor Bradley Cooper, who played the late Chris Kyle, has been universally praised for his performance, and is up for Best Actor at the Feb. 22 ceremony.
