For once, the album sales for the previous week made more headlines than the digital downloads, but that doesn't mean that singles are doing badly at all. In fact, after just declaring last week that Eminem's "The Monster" could hold down the top spot for weeks to come, a new track took its place. Behold:

NEWLY CROWNED

After sitting around at no. 4 for a couple of weeks, Pitbull and Ke$ha's "Timber" made its move to the top spot, seeing a boost of 43 percent and selling 237,000 downloads. It's the rapper's fourth time atop the chart, and the pop star's third time.

AROUND

Eminem hasn't given up however. He and Rihanna still sold 231,000 downloads of "Monster" despite slipping to no. 2. Let's see if it makes another run at the top next week.

A Great Big World continued on its way back toward the top after its "Say Something" placed at no. 3 (with some help from Christina Aguilera), selling another 197,000 copies. OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" stayed strong despite dropping a spot to no. 4. The track moved another 175,000 copies. Lorde's "Royals" saw its first significant drop, dropping in sales by 19 percent and settling at no. 5 with 144,000 downloads. Imagine Dragons' "Demons" came in at no. 6 with 124,000 downloads, and Passenger's "Let Her Go" moved another 115,000 units despite slipping to no. 9.

THANK YOU AMA'S

Several tracks got a boost in sales, presumably due to their performances at the American Music Awards. One Direction brought its "Story of My Life" back to the Top 10, selling 118,000 downloads and placing no. 7. Miley Cyrus saw an 11 percent boost in sales for her "Wrecking Ball," moving 99,000 copies of the track and moving up a spot to no. 9. Katy Perry dropped to no. 10 with slightly less than 99,000 downloads of "Roar."
