The New England Patriots may be the champions of Super Bowl XLIX, but they're not the only ones who logged a major celebration last night (Feb. 1). On the post-game episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, a slew of major musical guests popped up on screen to give an a cappella performance of the Queen classic "We Are the Champions."

The performance started off with expected musical entertainment: Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. Singing in neon-colored, Brady Bunch-esque boxes, the nine singers kicked off the rock standard before a special pop-up performance from Carrie Underwood took center square, thus stealing the show.

But, that didn't last too long. Because then there was Sam Smith, and "One Last Time" singer Ariana Grande, there to out-sing them all.

Eventually, Blake Shelton, One Direction, Meghan Trainor, Usher and Christina Aguilera were on hand to sing the song, with each performer outdoing the one that came before them.

Though, seeing Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera both attempt to have the most range and volume was a little overwhelming, the mix (not surprisingly) worked perfectly well, with the voices blending into one epic chorus of musical explosion.

It was like a mega-pop star filled three minutes of Hollywood Squares, except in the end, we all win. Not only because of the champion nature of "We Are the Champions," but because this performance was just that awesome.
