Promoting the upcoming release of the deluxe edition of Physical Graffiti, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page recently spoke at a public Q&A to discuss the reissued album and the possibility of a live comeback, which he says he is "warming up on the touchlines" for.

Speaking during a listening session for the deluxe reissue of Physical Graffiti just a month before the 40-year anniversary, Page commented on touring, via Rolling Stone, saying, "How it starts off is that you have to play guitar and get match fit, so currently I'm sort of in the process of doing that but I'm also in the process of doing this [reissue series], too."

Page added, "[Live shows] would more or less be closer to the end of the year rather than next month. But you know, I'm definitely warming up on the touchlines, let's put it that way."

During a listening session for Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy, Page hinted at plans for new music that we are starting to see crystallize, even if a Led Zeppelin reunion does not seem to be in the cards.

"If I was to play again it would be with musicians that would be ... some of the names might be new to you," Page said. "I haven't put them together yet, but I'm going to do that next year."
