While The Real Housewives of Miami is probably the least-watched show in the Bravo franchise, it has given fans one of the most real stories possible. Viewers have watched as Lisa Hochstein has opened up and been honest about her struggle to get pregnant. She has the great house, supportive doctor husband and anything that money could buy, but the thing she has wanted most -- a family -- has felt pretty impossible, until yesterday, Feb. 9, anyway. Hochstein has confirmed that she and Lenny are expecting a baby via a surrogate after a long infertility struggle.

Hochstein recently spoke with Us Weekly about her exciting news.

"It did not feel real, almost unbelievable. Although I was beyond excited and overjoyed, we did not want to get our hopes up too high until we passed the first trimester. We felt that we tried almost every option available to us except surrogacy. Adoption was a consideration if this didn't work. The baby might be [born] on my birthday, which is July 24. That would be the best gift in the world! We are thinking he or she should have a name beginning with the letter l so we would all have the same initials. How cute is that?" said the reality starlet.

Hochstein is still hoping to be able to experience pregnancy and carry a child herself at some point down the road, but for now she is thrilled to know that having a family is something she and her husband will get to experience. Whether or not this adventure will be documented by Bravo remains to be seen, though.

The most recent season of RHOM scored pretty dismal ratings, so there is no word on when or if it will return. Are you hoping that it does come back so we get to see Hochstein transition into new motherhood? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
