If you have tuned in to Keeping Up with the Kardashians at all within the last few years, then you already know that Kim Kardashian thinks Vogue editor Anna Wintour is god-like. Aside from the constant name-dropping, Kardashian has tried really hard to force Wintour to like her as much as she does Kanye West. She may have put the couple on the cover of Vogue, but Wintour has also said that they are not the classiest people she has ever met. The fashion guru also did not hold back in voicing her displeasure with the couple for dragging their screaming 19-month-old daughter North West through NYFW.
While presenting a united, supportive family front is always a good thing, keeping your miserable toddler in the front row of a fashion show is ridiculous, and doing it twice was inexcusable by Wintour's standards.
According to a report by The Fix, "Nori's face in most of the photos says it all. She is frowning, almost terrified, and some of the photos that were deleted had her hysterically crying. She was exhausted. They've been toting her all over town like she's a new handbag, and Anna doesn't think it's right to force her to go to everything. Ms. Wintour stepped in when Nori brought the champagne festivities at an Alexander Wang party to a screeching halt with a full-on arm-thrashing, leg-kicking tantrum. Her advice for the Wests? Act like Victoria Beckham, show your united force as a family for a quick photo-round and then let the nanny take over," explained the source.
You would think that not dragging your toddler into adult situations would be a no-brainer, wouldn't you? Wintour's reaction at the Adidas show when North West flipped out was priceless. She turned away from the drama in slow motion and her mortification was felt even though her huge glasses masked her eyes.
Supposedly, Kardashian is equally horrified to have been scolded by Wintour about anything at all, let alone the disruption of New York Fashion Week.
