It never fails. In the midst of nearly every tragedy you will almost always find someone trying to profit in one way or another. It has been 19 days since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down in her bathtub, and while many family members have been at her side praying for a miracle, some have not. Instead, we are hearing that several family members have tried cashing in on the crisis with the media, swapping information for luxury items, thousands of dollars and perks.

According to a report by Us Weekly, some shady family members have volunteered to do interviews with the press in return for cold-hard cash, car service and hotel stays.

"The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina's treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them," said Christopher Brown, the official family attorney.

Bobby Brown has been in control of access to his daughter's hospital room and who is on the list to visit. Obviously, he has shut certain people out for good reason. Can you imagine if these same family members who are trying to sell information to the press actually had access to Bobbi Kristina and knew solid details? Unfortunately, there have been many accounts of drama behind-the-scenes and fights occurring in the hospital where Brown still remains in a medically induced coma.

No wonder the Houston family has carried such disgust for them over the last few decades! Are you surprised that some members of the Brown family have tried to profit from this tragic situation? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
