ILoveMakonnen has made a name for himself after his hit "Tuesday" blew up, and now everyone is excited about his new material. After his performance with Puff Daddy and Snoop Dogg at Madison Square Garden last week, Makonnen took time out to chat with Hot 97's Miss Info about his upcoming album and other things in the works. Here's what we learned:

On meeting Snoop Dogg early in his career:

"It was great. I just came through, met him. We smoked, hung out, talked music, and we just vibed with each other and kept it going, you know. He supported was I was doin' and told me to keep doing what I was doing."

On the music he and Snoop have made together so far:

"We did the remix to '21st Street' then we did some other songs where I did some hooks and he did some verses, but we still gotta get back in and polish some things up. But it's coming good. It's some West Coast stuff."

What he is working on with DJ Mustard:

"I'm very excited about the songs I got with Mustard. I think they are going to be summer bangers, all of them. So I look forward [to it]. [The songs] are for my album and his album. We made some nice stuff in there to where it's gunna cover both of us."

On what he's been up to since signing to OVO:

"I moved to New York that's definitely good. I've been getting a lot of work done. I've been traveling, working on other people's albums. Just getting out here on different scenes in the music industry, different genres. Hanging out with musicians of all kinds and just staying creative. I'm not for no drama and sh*t. I'm just for everybody building themselves up and rising to the top."

On the song he wrote for Miley Cyrus:

"Yeah where is that song at? We're still waiting on Mike WiLL Made-It, he's still making it. We're waiting on Miley Cyrus' album I guess. I don't know what's going on. That's RCA. I don't even have the record. I forgot what it sounded like. I know it sounded good. So it's in Mike WiLL and Miley Cyrus' hands. Y'all should ask them. Put the pressure on them when you see them about that record. [It's called] 'Before You Left.' We need that Makonnen songwriting credit on that album. It's a great collaboration."

As previously reported, his upcoming album will feature appearances from Rihanna, Skrillex, Diplo, Drake, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Snake.
