It seems like almost every time Kanye West opens his mouth the words that follow get him in some kind of trouble. This time out he has ticked off the Kardashian family in a big way. During his interview with 105.1's The Breakfast Club, West confirmed that Kylie Jenner and Tyga are not only dating, but they're also in love. Up until that point everyone in the family was insisting that the two are just good friends, for several reasons. One is the fact that Tyga is 25 years old and Jenner is still just a minor at the age of 17.
There's also the detail about him leaving his baby mama, Blac Chyna and their 2-year-old son to spend time with Jenner. Momager Kris Jenner felt that this relationship had to be kept under wraps and according to a report by The Hollywood Life she's furious with West for spilling the beans. "Kris knows about Kylie and Tyga's relationship but has purposely kept a lid on it for months because she was scared of the public's reaction — not to mention the authorities. She was protecting both Kylie and Tyga. Everyone was on board keeping the company line that Tyga and Kylie were just friends. Now Kanye has messed it all up," says their source.
Another question about West's dropping the truth is in the timing. Amber Rose has been taking shots at Kim and Khloe Kardashian all week and there is reportedly concern that things could get a whole lot uglier. Some have wondered if West was purposely pushing the press towards another issue instead, namely Jenner's underage love life. Any way you look at it now, Kris has a problem to troubleshoot. Since everything is about appearance she won't want the fans thinking badly of her for supporting her daughter dating a much older guy.
