Sweetlife Festival has unveiled its 2015 artist lineup. Among those who top the bill are Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, Charli XCX and even playing the legend card with Billy Idol.
The diverse lineup of more than 25 acts includes up-and-comers like Vic Mensa, Raury, MisterWives, hotly touted local rapper linked with Rick Rubin, Goldlink, Vance Joy and others. Bleachers, Tove Lo and Phantogram are among others who will be performing over the two days.
The festival has expanded from one day to two days in 2015, as it enters its 6th year. According to Nathaniel, Nicolas & Jonathan, the co-founders of Sweetgreen, the health foods store that hosts the event, Sweetlife is bigger and better in 2015: "Sweetlife 2015 is not just seeing some of our favorite bands perform, or eating the best healthy, local food around - it's the intersection of these two things coming together to create a memorable experience."
The festival will take place May 30-31 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD just outside of Washington, DC.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow. Fans can access the code only through the festival's Instagram account at 8 p.m. General admission and VIP passes go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. EST. Head to the festival's website for more information and tickets.
