Martin Garrix and Usher have shared their sudden new collaboration "Don't Look Down" in most countries on iTunes through RCA Records and Spinnin Records. The collaboration seemingly came out of nowhere when the pair posted a picture of the two of them in the studio a little more than a week ago, and then over the next few days news continued to slowly emerge about what the track would sound like and when the track would be released.

"Don't Look Down" is a meeting of both artists's worlds with a softer side of the "Animals" producer's production and the same delicate crooning voice from Usher retrofitted for a big EDM-pop crossover record. The track is destined to get some serious radio play with its pitched plucks and catchy chorus.

"Don't Look Down" is rumored to be a part of an upcoming Martin Garrix album, reportedly titled +x.

This is not the first time Garrix has worked with a big pop star. He has a collaboration finished with Ed Sheeran titled "Rewind, Repeat It," which could be where he got the inspiration for his album title.

Usher fans still eagerly await the release of Usher's eighth album UR, which currently has no timeline for when it will be dropped.

"The album isn't scheduled anymore. I've basically taken it back. I'm taking my time with it," he told Billboard. "At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio [and] go with how you feel."

We have heard a few tracks from the upcoming Usher LP through leaks and official releases so far, but he has been coy about sharing too much news. "Don't Look Down" will have to satisfy fans until the "Good Kisser" singer is ready to unveil the album to the world.
